Large ash glazed platter

A large platter thrown in white stoneware, left unturned so the throwing marks remain, and then finished with a wood ash glaze. The glaze is clear, glossy, crazed and has some dark flecks of colour from impurities in the glaze.

Ideal for serving things like cold meats or cheese, or putting in the hall for post, keys and all those other bits and pieces.

Diameter 37cm, height 8cm. Weight 2.4kg.
