Potclays White Earthenware Handbuilding
(previously Grogged White)
Pics from March 2020 firing – cone 10 down at the front, soft at the back. Slow cooled in reduction. Naturally fires to white, but dark flecks formed and some colouring of the clay. A green celadon like satin finish glaze formed on the inside.

Manufactured using a 158-1141 white earthenware base with sand and grog addition giving medium texture and excellent workability for hand building, sculpting or tiles. Can also be thrown.
Applications: General purpose / tiles / hand building / general domestic / large domestic. Not recommended for slip.
Texture: 4 (1 smoothest, 10 most coarse)
