Manufacturer: Potclays Ref 151-1120
Firing to a similar colour to 151-1117 (Buff stoneware), this more complex body formulation offers greater consistency and reliability. Outstanding and extremely well behaved general purpose clay based on fireclays, ball clay and china clay blend. Good dual purpose earthenware or stoneware use. Very poplar with production stoneware potters as a production stoneware body under oxidation or reduction and popular also in schools due to its tolerance. Smooth texture. Medium shrinkage. Fine speckle under reduction.
